USU can only enroll you, and run your practicum, where it has the approvals. Its FNP is open in most states but not Kansas, New Hampshire, New York, Maryland or DC. Find your state.

Questions USU students ask
Why isn't USU's FNP offered in Kansas?
USU's disclosure says its FNP does not meet Kansas's APRN clinical-hour minimum: 500 role-specialty hours for students admitted on or before March 1, 2025, and 750 after that. USU's FNP has 540 hours.
Can I do USU clinicals in a state where I don't live?
USU encourages clinicals in your state of residence and can't promise another board accepts out-of-state hours. You also need an active RN license there. Ask your Clinical Placement Coordinator before you plan it.
Does USU enroll California students?
USU says it is not accepting students into its in-state California track. The California Board of Registered Nursing lists USU's FNP as an out-of-state program, which brings its own license and approval rules. See the California page.
